BLOG 29:ちゃどうとしょどう

 Q1. ビデオはどうでしたか。何がおもしろかったですか。
ビデオはとても おもしろかったです, especially because there are such specific practices for both chadou and shodou, and that you can be considered “masters” of each.

ちゃどう は きれいなしゅうかん です。きもの を きて、おちゃ を つります. テア ボル (tea bowl)を 二回  まわして (to turn)、 三回飲みます.

しょどう は きれいくて、むずかしい なしゅうかんです。You have to practice slowly and methodically, and write with a rhythm. 

I also thought it was interesting that the first video contrasted Japan’s technological advancements with the older customs and rituals people still maintain.

子どもの 時, からて を しました. 

からて は 楽しかったですが, たいへんです. だから、 からて を 知っています。私 も あいきどう を 知っています。
